The Flaming Dames

Chicago's ORIGINAL "Dames" have been around since 2002; and since then, we've been rocking audiences out of their own skin with all of our one-of-a-kind shows, from the raunchy fun of "Talk Dirty To Me" to the gritty sexuality of "Bump & Grindhouse" to the sultry sass of "Naughty & Nice!"

Our shows and our style is contemporary burlesque, solidly based in pop-culture parody and good ol' fashioned Rock & Roll!! We bring back the pure entertainment classic burlesque is known for and make you a part of it!

The Flaming Dames is a burlesque troupe that embodies the true spirit of The Ensemble. While we celebrate each woman's unique body, talent and individuality, we choose to forgo "featured performers" or "headliners". We feature group numbers that are arresting and executed with uncommon precision. We do include many solo numbers, but they act as accents rather than as priority in our work. The group is truly the thing.

We are a strong, supportive team of women who strive to create a performance environment that is safe, healthy, and embraces equality for everyone —both on stage and off.
